Helena completed her MFA in the summer of 2024. She specialized in print-media, more specifically in lithography and screen printing. For her thesis project, she wrote an auto-fiction graphic novel based on her experience as a first-generation Croatian immigrant in Canada. The book was self published, where she presented several copies in the middle of the gallery. Said layout was surrounded by large scale examples of pages from the book, and other preparation work. The thesis show was up for one week at the student gallery at Concordia University, Montreal.
